Look at this site, since you have a computer http://www.britishairways.com/travel/home/public/en_us you plug all your info in, but you don't pay unless you are serious I checked a while back and it was cheaper for a one way ticket than a round trip one (naturally) which PROBABLY means get a one way ticket there and as soon as you arrive, get to a computer and get a one way ticket back for the time you want to return. No guarantees on that one, you'd have to be kind of flexible with your schedule MIGHT be cheaper - I didn't try it, I ended up not going :(

I would suggest flying with American Airlines. I live in Los Angeles california near LAX airport. I always see signs for American Airlines( flights from Los Angeles to London daily specials. aa.com ba.com

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

It's about an hour or a tiny bit more. You can drive it in just about 6 hours.

Super short. Like 1 hour. I used to fly in to PHX from San Jose and it was litterally 1 hour and 40 minutes from door to door........ Easy flight for sure.............

You can take a plane anywhere it fly to and for any reason, however if you are talking about all your personal items (?) which i will presume is above the allowed check in luggage allowance(?) and or furniture (?) then i would suggest using a removal company.

yes Los Angeles has a very large airport called LAX, I'm not sure where you are but I would look up moving companies that will take all of your stuff there and you can fly, you will have to stay somewhere until your house/apartment is ready
