I really want to go to Japan and I just wanted to know about how long the flight is to there from LA. I've looked on a couple websites and most of them said about 11.5 hours, but my dad said it's longer :P

Well, from my past experiences, it takes about 13hours to fly to Hong Kong from San Francisco. I've only flown to Tokyo once, and it took about 10-11hours with no delays, so yes the websites are correct.

It's gonna be at least 12 hours.

How long is the flight from Los Angeles to Moscow onboard Delta Airlines?
Typical time range will do... such as 15 to 18 hours with stop overs, etc. Probably LA to Amsterdam and then Amsterdam to Moscow.

How long is a non-stop flight from Los Angeles to Austria
How long is a non-stop flight from Los Angeles to Austria?
The reason I ask is because my friend is allegedly flying here from Austria to LAX in 'SIX hours', which is impossible. I know she lies to me about things but this is ridiculous!

14 hours, I would guess. But you look at www.Expedia.ccom or any other travel website for the exact time.
2 :
I believe there are no non-stop flights to any of the Austrian airports from LAX.
3 :
No non-stop flights from and to LAX-Vienna The closest non-stops are to/from Frankfurt (Lufthansa) Zurich (Swiss). Flights are approx. 14 hrs
4 :
Try about 26 hours and 23 minutes! Your friend may have a problem with lying there
5 :
I don't think this is a case of your friend lying to you, more a case of her not realising that all flight times are given as local. Austria is actually 9 hours ahead of you in Los Angeles, so you could have, for example, her leaving on a flight from Vienna (Austria) at 0900hrs and arriving in Los Angeles at 1500hrs. To your friend that could look like a 6 hour flight when it is, in fact, 15 hours.
6 :
ain't one! After 6 hours you would just be over Newfoundland or somewhere
7 :
No non-stop flights on any airline
8 :
Try austrian airways but I don't think direct flight is there, maybe via nyc.
