I think you can use expedia to do this search. It's 12 hrs and 40 mn. Nonstop..

I flew from San Diego to Thailand and that was 19. So, I would guesstimate about 12-14 hours. Thats if you go non stop. Otherwise you are looking at a stopover in Honolulu or Guam.

I see that everyone is quoting you roundtrip prices, have you tried low fare airlines like southwest, airtran or allegiant air, as low as $49 one way! and they're not listed on major travel sites like expedia or travelocity, so you'll have to go to each individual site, hope this helps, i know they have limited routes and i didn't look it up before i posted, but they may fly into airports that are close to where you need to go.

Flying time from Lax to D.C. is around 5 hours and 15 minutes. I have no idea about the time to venice butI would say about 10 hours. zcheck with your airline.

LAX to IAD : 4.56hrs (non-stop) and IAD to Venice Italy via Paris (with Air France) around 10hrs10'... Hope it helps.

Cathay stops at Hong Kong, you change planes going to Manila. As the first respondent said, Northwest has a direct flight from LAX to MNL. Edit 1: Just to clarify one answerer's statement below: Direct flight doesn't mean non-stop. Direct flight means one or more stops between the flight of origin to destination usually to refuel or pick up additional passenger. Non-stop flight simply means no stop-over.
