I am going on a 11 hour flight from Los Angeles to London. Any tips on keeping myslef entertained? Thanks!?

I had a 10 hour flight from Vancouver to London last summer. to keep myself occupied, I brought along... -some books -a few magazines -an ipod. you could do the same..or you could bring.. -a portable DVD player and your favorite movies. It's gonna be a long flight...trust me..but you'll probably fall asleep half the way too! have fun! :)

books, magazines, ipod, jigsaw puzzles, word search puzzles and crossword puzzles, write in a journal, write old fashioned letters to friends, bring and write out all the birthday cards for the year, make an early xmas list, if you can use your laptop inflight (if you have one) do the games on that, sleep of course, dont know if you are male or female but start a new hobby like crochet, bring a deck of cards to play with a passenger, watch the inflight movie. hope this helps.

A couple of good books. A new magazine or two that you've never read before. Music puzzle books - sudoku, crossword, logic puzzles, etc. homework if you're in school, office work (if you can take it with you) Map and guidebook of London, to figure out where you're going and what you're going to see there.

Well, there's always your MP3 player. Usually, there are music channels you can listen to (you probably have to supply your own headphones-it's a good idea anyway for both $$ and health safety issues) and movies you can watch on the backs of seats. Then, there's always the old standby--the BOOK. Personally, I advise against using electronic devices that use air-wave frequency because they used to foul up the airplane's electrical system and cause danger for the flight. There are other small things you can do like crossword puzzles or word searches. That may be too simple for you to enjoy though. You can always write if you are creative or just like to journal. That's always good. You can start a travel journal by describing what you see when you look out the plane window-if you get a window seat. Otherwise, just write down your expectations of London, etc. Personally, I don't do any of these things because I just sit frozen and praying until the plane touches down and comes to a stop on the runway. Flying terrifies me.

Bring a travel pillow and small blanket and catch up on sleep so you won't be too jet lagged when you get there. Bring a blank journal and pen or colored pencils and start a journal about your trip. Start reading a good book. Bring a portable dvd player or mp3 player Bring cards and have whoever next to you play . Have some cocktails while you watch the in flight movie and then pass out. Make a list of things you want to do on your trip. Make a list of 100 things you are greatful for ...or 100 reasons you love your mom or friend etc and give it to them when you get back ( we dont usually have time to think about positive things in our daily busy lives!) Bring some candy or snacks you love in your bag. simple and cheap get an Nintendo ds or some other portable console like psp get pokemon zelda and super mario, they will keep u occupied plus u get free wifi with the ds at the airport

books ipod in flight movie - make sure u bring your own headphones, so u dont have 2 use the crappy airline headphones and some sleeping pills, dont OD!!! just enough to let u sleep
