are there any flight attendent bases in Los Angeles, California?
after I grad. high school; I really want to become a flight attendent, I would love to work for Delta Airlines, but I dont think they have a base in L.A. -- or do they?

Yes, but there is a caveat: you don’t get to pick your base when you first go “on-line.†However, the great thing about working for an airline is that you fly for free and thus, most people (pilots and flight attendants anyway) aren’t based where they live. (I lived in Memphis and was based in NYC. My dad lives in Memphis and is based in Philly.) You will likely be on “reserve†for the first few years after you start working, which means you will need a “crash-pad†wherever you wind up. (You can get a cheap apartment with 15 other people – most of you won’t be in there most of the time; it’ just a place to “crash†in case you get stuck.) If you want to do it - go for it. You’ll get to pick a new base sooner or later. (It can be where you want to live, or where the better flights for you depart.) Hope that helps.

There are many airlines that base flight crew out of LAX, try American, United, Air Canada, Alaskan apply right off their websites, current job postings are there and you dont have to pay a US based non related company for training Ticketing agent
