I tried to search for it on the net but some of the answers I got don't really seem believeable so I was wondering if anyone here knew. :)

A non-stop flight from Toronto to Los Angeles will take you about 5 and a half hours -- presuming the weather conditions are decent and there are no unforeseen delays. AA, United, and Air Canada all make the trip. If you need to make a connection, the travel time is obviously going to be a little longer -- you could be stopping in any one of a number of cities (Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, and Cleveland are all popular choices), and you're likely looking at about an eight or nine hour journey (the layover is usually around an hour or two.) Again, this is assuming neither of your planes are delayed and everything goes as planned. Traveling back from Los Angeles to Toronto, you might find the flight a little quicker because of the tradewinds; a non-stop flight will take a little under 5 hours in this case (probably about 4 hours, 45 minutes.) Hope this helps! Have a great trip. --Holly
