I pulled this off of expedia.com with dates in mid Jan. so it all depends on when you go. Total price for this trip: $729.30 Los Angeles (LAX) Depart 1:12 am to Panama City (PTY) Arrive 10:30 am Duration: 6hr 18mn CM Copa Panama City (PTY) Depart 3:10 pm to Cartagena (CTG) Arrive 4:15 pm Also I know a guy that gets discounts on air fare for any airline. He used be a travel agent for an airline company. His name is Tom Morrison. Fares can vary by hundreds or even thousands of dollars depending on the dates of travel, how long you stay, seat availability, and how far in advance you purchase your ticket. If any answers posted here are correct, it's just dumb luck because no one has enough information. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of websites with this information. Kayak, Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, and Priceline are just a few. You can try different dates and even different cities and check the results. Edit: By the way, I looked at the flyfirstclassforever.com website mentioned in another answer. Save your money. This guy is just trying to peddle his book. For example, he says: "I'll expose to you the exact days and times of the month, down to the last second when airlines update their fares. Knowing this will allow you to be the first to jump on new flight deals before anyone else could have access to them. This method will typically knock off nearly $100 on your ticket every time!" The truth is that airlines can and do update their fares in real time throughout the day - not just on certain days or at certain times. They did update just on certain days and at certain times - a couple of decades ago. How do I know? I worked for some of the largest travel companies in the world and I've seen fares routinely change throughout the day.
