About 45 minutes. Basically, you get up to altitude, cross the river, and descend back down. If LA's traffic wasn't so god-awful, I might actually tell you just to drive.

It took me like 5 hours to drive from phoenix to LA. Seriously, it's a waste of money to pay a ticket from Phoenix to LA, i prefer to drive.

About 40 minutes. Once you reach cruising altitude, you begin your descent.
